#46 New Jewellery, Old Friends

While I’ve only been living in NZ for two years, I’ve made some friends here that I feel like I’ve always known, so this weekend I traveled back to Hawke’s Bay to visit some of these oldest, newest friends.

Auckland airport was fogged in, and my flight which should have left at 08:35am, left at 14:45pm, meaning that this was a very fleeting visit. I admit to a sense of humour failure about 5 hours into the extra waiting time, but even so this weekend was just what my soul needed.

As Greg Tamblyn once said, “Friends are people who know you really well and like you anyway”

And the bracelet pictured? My rather beautiful and belated Christmas / birthday gift from my friend Milla, which is my new thing today.

Seeing old (new) friends – 5 out of 5 stars
