The Scottish Play

“By the pricking of my thumbs, Something wicked this way comes.” – Macbeth Act IV, Scene I

It’s nearly 30 degrees Celsius with 100% humidity here in NZ at the moment.  It’s muggy, my washing won’t dry, and my awesome weekend plans got washed away like the rain in a drain. So to take comfort, I decided to treat myself to an evening of murder, tyranny, and political ambition. Continue reading “The Scottish Play”

Hike the Hunuas

“In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks” – John Muir

Now I’m a big fan of social commentary, anarchy, art, and Banksy’s work in general, but I have to say I wasn’t exactly blown away by the exhibition.

It’s hard to pin point exactly why. Continue reading “The Art of Banksy Exhibition”

A Piece Rubbish a Day…

“The power is yours” – Captain Planet

I was talking with a colleague today about New Year’s resolutions that you can not only keep, but will also help someone else or the world in general, and we hit upon a simple – yet genius (we think) – idea.  Continue reading “A Piece Rubbish a Day…”
