# 27: New Stitch

Today I learnt a new stitch with crochet. It’s where you stitch a single stitch and then a double stitch into the same loop, skip a stitch, then repeat.

You end up with a lovely lacy type pattern. Finished article to appear here shortly…

Day 11: Nailed it!

A week after making  my first crochet stitch, the line turned into a blanket! I mean, not an attractive blanket, nor is it even fully functional as bits of it keep unravelling, but it’s the first project I’ve completed so feeling chuffed.

 

Day 4: Picked up a Crochet Hook

My new thing today was picking up and doing something constructive with a crochet hook – instead of looking at it blankly.

My friend Milla has taught me how to crochet, and today I made my very own line of single stitches using a frankly enormous crochet hook and thick acrylic wool that I picked up, 2 for the price of  1, at The Warehouse.

I’m not sure what this line of singles stitches will become, if anything, but I’m going to keep going to see what happens. Will report back.
