And the results are in…

A little while ago I blogged about doing my ancestry DNA test. Well, today I got the results.

It turns out that I am 74% British (and predominantly Southern British), 23% Western European, and 3% Unknown but possibly with a bit of Scandinavian or Celtic thrown in.

Where do I come from? And why does it matter?

So, I’ve decided to do a DNA Test. Not in a ‘Jeremy-Kyle-who’s-the-father’ way, but more to learn a little more about where I come from.

While Frank Turner sings (beautifully I might add) about it not mattering where you come from, to me I find it matters for a couple of reasons.
